So I posted earlier back in this thread about constantly getting 14L/100km regardless of how I drove it, gentle or foot to the floor as much as possible, it always returned just over 400km to reserve or 14L/100km. And the absolute very best I could possibly do was about 10L/100km on absolutely nothing but highway, or if I drove it so slow and with so little braking that I made scooters seem like rocket ships
I went through absolutely everything I could think of and never found a problem on the car. I was convinced you were all liars, blind/dumb and can't read numbers, or there was something massively wrong with my engine or ECU despite it driving perfectly fine

Well i've since moved and have been beating on the throttle actually trying to use more fuel, because I can't get it worse than 10L/100km. ~400km to ~600km from a tank, massive difference. I actually can't believe it, i've never seen my trip meter so high. It's gone from something thats been sucking me dry to a pretty economical car. Traffic conditions are different sure, but I still use full acceleration getting to highway speeds, lots of foot through the corners and everything off the lights up to the speed limit if i'm in front. And yet my fuel consumption here on the Gold Coast driving hard is still massively better than its ever been driving gentle in Cairns. Taking into account the huge difference in fuel prices (~100c vs ~125c) it is literally 50% cheaper to run.... even moreso if I drive it gentle
